Contributor Program Guidelines
ResourceNexus's peer-review system keeps every clinical resource independently vetted by licensed professionals. Here's how it works, what you earn, and the rules that protect everyone.
ResourceNexus is a clinician-led ecosystem. 10% of every dollar we earn goes directly back to the professionals who vet our content. Check the live pool value in your dashboard to see our collective growth.

The Contributor Program is open to Solo Pro and Clinician Plus subscribers who hold a valid NPI (National Provider Identifier) issued through the NPPES registry. A one-time NPI verification is required to participate.
- Available to Solo Pro and Clinician Plus subscription tiers.
- Licensed therapists, psychologists, counselors, and clinical social workers are welcome.
- Your NPI is validated automatically against the public NPPES registry — no documents to upload.
- Verification earns you 500 XP instantly.
- You may opt out at any time from your Contributor Settings page — no questions asked.
3-Step Peer Verification
Every new resource submitted to ResourceNexus enters a Peer Review Pipeline. Three separate licensed clinicians must independently verify a resource before it earns the Peer-Verified badge.
Initial Review
A new resource enters the Verification Dashboard with state In Review. Any opted-in clinician can open the full resource detail and submit their verification.
Second Opinion
A different clinician must independently verify the same resource. Each clinician may only verify a given resource once, ensuring independent assessment.
Final Confirmation
A third clinician completes the trio. The resource is automatically upgraded to Peer-Verified and its badge is updated across all resource cards.
Admins may grant an Admin-Verified badge to resources reviewed directly by a ResourceNexus Clinical Lead. Admin-Verified resources can enter the peer-review pipeline at any time to also earn the Peer-Verified badge.
Points, NPS & Tiers
Every contribution earns points that feed your Nexus Participation Score (NPS) — the number that determines your monthly payout share. Points also drive your XP tier.
Point Value Table
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Add a resource to the library | +10 pts |
| Complete a peer review | +15 pts |
| Resource refinement / update | +5 pts |
| Your resource is viewed by a user | +2 pts |
| Your resource is favorited | +1 pt |
View and usage points (rows 4–5) count toward Usage Impact in your NPS score.
How Your NPS Is Calculated
- Monthly Points (50%) — Points earned this calendar month. Resets on the 1st; 10% rolls into your Lifetime total.
- Lifetime Points (20%) — Your cumulative contribution record over time.
- Usage Impact (30%) — Views + favorites on your resources — the real-world impact of your work.
Minimum Engagement Requirement
You must earn at least 50 points per month to qualify for that month's pool distribution. Months below this threshold do not receive a payout share, but your Lifetime Points continue to accumulate.
XP Tiers (Status)
The 10% Gross Income Pool
Every month, 10% of ResourceNexus's gross subscription revenue is set aside as the Clinical Quality Pool and distributed proportionally to all opted-in contributors who meet the minimum engagement requirement.
- Platform calculates 10% of monthly gross revenue → Pool
- Each qualifying contributor's NPS is summed → Global NPS Total
- Your Point Value (PV) = Pool ÷ Global NPS Total
- Your Payout = Your NPS × PV
$2,000 Annual Guardrail
To comply with fair-market regulations, cash payouts are capped at $2,000 per calendar year per contributor. Earnings beyond this cap convert to ResourceNexus Subscription Credits applied to your next billing cycle.
Opting In & Out
- Navigate to Contributor Settings to opt in or out at any time — no questions asked.
- While opted out, you cannot earn credits or submit verifications.
- Your XP history is fully preserved when opted out — opt back in at any time to resume earning.
- Your annual credit issued total resets on January 1 of each calendar year.
NPI verification required. Solo Pro or Clinician Plus subscription required to participate.
